Distance Drivers allow the thrower to more comfortably achieve long distance drives. These golf discs are ideal for drives which require more distance than the player can develop with a Midrange or Fairway/Control driver. They are often preferred by flick/sidearm throwers as they on average possess more resistance to off axis torque. Distance drivers typically have a wide rim with an extremely aerodynamic profile. They require more power to throw and players who do not possess great power should throw low to mid weight discs. This is to better suit their power requirements. These discs are also great in situations which require the disc to skip as it finishes.
